Nelly’s Cupcakes: caking, baking and making in the north east of England. Pies to puddings, bread to brownies and everything in between.
I’ve been been baking since I was a child and blogging since 2008. In the last four years, Nelly’s Cupcakes has become one of the foremost baking blogs in the north east. It receives, on average 12,000 page views per month. 2,650 of which are unique users and the blog currently has 162 GFC followers and 220 RSS subscribers.
My blog title is rather deceptive. I do love a good old fashioned cupcake, however, the blog focuses on so much more. I love to experiment with both sweet and savoury cooking, I also follow the Weight Watchers programme and blog my recipes.
As well as blogging about baking, in 2012 I was filmed for an episode of Baking Mad with Eric Lanlard, which will be aired in March 2012 on channel 4 (UK).
On top of writing for Nelly's Cupcakes I also contribute to The Great British Baking Club and Kitchen Bitching. I am open to other opportunities within content writing, as well as guest posting.
