Oh September, what a fickle month you have been!
It seems about 5 minutes ago I was pinching and punching people on the first of the month and now I am suddenly in October and wondering what on earth happened?!
I suppose the downside of working for a university is that September is busy busy busy, long days at work followed by shamefully early nights. Having said that when I look back over the month I actually managed to squeeze in a bit of a social life too! Unfortunately blogging took a bit of a back seat but que sera sera...
So here is what I got up to this month in handy instagram-style
1 & 2: Lots of time spent with friends and their kids meant lots of time building fabulous lego structures
3, 4, 5 & 6: Urban Night Feast in Newcastle, one of the best foodie events I have been to, seriously, can this be a monthly thing?
7 & 8: A friends wedding at High House Farm Brewery in Matfen, such a gorgeous day in a beautiful location. If you are thinking of tying the know, check it out. Amazing.
9: A cake I made for my cousin's first birthday, more on this in a future post, but was a roaring sucess!
10: My first attempt at using the Baked by me jelly moulds was not a great sucess but am definitely going to try again, plus they are in super cute pastel colours. If you haven't checked out this website yet, do so, its lovely.
11: An impromptu trip to the coast on a sunny Sunday, everything was so beautiful and I couldn't resist capturing some of the features in the Metro station. Just lovely.
12: Finally, a lot of quality time with the boyfriend has been had in September, this is a picture of us at a friends leaving party.
What did you guys do in September?
Working on some recipe and review posts soon, so watch this space and thanks for your patience.
